Who We Are

The International KenKen Federation (IKKF) is the is the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the growth and integrity of KenKen worldwide. We support players, teachers, students, and puzzle creators across the globe in an effort to enhance personal development and growth, math and logic skills, problem solving ability, creativity and self-confidence in our youth.

OUR STORY

How It All Began

KenKen was invented in 2004 by Japanese educator Tetsuya Miyamoto as a way to make learning math fun and intuitive. It quickly became a classroom favourite, then a global sensation, and today is enjoyed by millions.

The International KenKen Federation was formed to steward that growth and foster a vibrant international community of student, parents and teachers dedicated to spreading the educational and personal development opportunities provided by KenKen.
